U.S. Moves Forward with Ban of Chrysolite, a Form of Asbestos

Today, a ruling that’s been in the works since 1989 came to fruition. The U.S. banned the importation of chrysotile, a form of asbestos. While this doesn’t address the importation and use of 5 other recognized asbestos fibers, we feel it’s a necessary step in the right direction to help prevent asbestos related illness and death in the US.
