We were called out to a home that has been vacant for over 20 years! While evaluating the property for a full remodel, the homeowner found some deeply embedded microbial growth and mold on the joists of the basement ceiling.
Our team of IICRC Certified heroes went straight to work using high air pressure to knock off loose debris and dust, then sanded and damp wiped the joists with antimicrobial to remove the unwanted microbial growth. HEPA Air filtration units were installed to capture any aerosolized spores promoting clean and healthy air quality. LGR dehumidifiers were also used to help reduce the humidity of the affected area. The joists were then painted with a mold encapsulant to prevent further growth.
